Magnificent large ‘floater’ group of bright red, perfect, undamaged Vanadinite crystals to 2.5 cm. from the Coud’a workings at Mibladen, Morocco. Specimen collected prior to 1980, and then part of the noted collection of Hubert Destrem of Paris, France. Mr. Destrem put together one of the finest collections in Europe and only collected specimens of the highest caliber. In June of the year 2000 this piece was acquired from The Collector’s Edge by Martin Jensen (the CE price tag was $20,000 at that time, now 25 years ago), and it has remained in the Jensen collection until now.
