Excellent large, rich specimen of bright yellow well-crystallized uranophane with metatorbernite on dolomite matrix from the Kamoto East Open cut, Kamoto, Mutshatsha, Lualaba, DR Congo. The different matrix gives this specimen away as not being from the much more famous nearby Musonoi mine, and indeed it is from the lesser-known Kamoto mine, which produced much fewer (but sometimes superb!) specimens of crystallized uranium minerals. Rare!
