Ex. George Kamin Collection

Excellent large, very rich specimen of dendritic uraninite with various colorful secondary “gummite” style uranium minerals and green autunite (and possible uranophane) in pegmatite matrix from the Palermo Mines, Groton, Grafton County, New Hampshire, USA. Very nice example of this material for the locality, significantly less common that the nearby Ruggles mine occurrence. Measures ~125,000 CPM on my Ludlum Model 3 Counter with the 44-9 probe. Rare!
