Ex. George Kamin Collection, Ex. Kay Robertson Collection

Superb specimen of bright, well-crystallized Native Tellurium with lesser Sylvanite and possible Krennerite from the famous Cripple Creek district in Teller County, Colorado. Originally labeled as “calaverite”, the extremely bright luster, obvious cleavage, and complex hoppered/skeletal crystals on this specimen clearly belong to Native Tellurium, and a very fine example for the locality at that! From the prominent collection of Kay Robertson (1920-2020), with her label. Rare!!

We are proud to present the collection of Dr. George Kamin of Arcadia, California. Dr. Kamin, a respected physicist and biotechnical engineer with numerous patents and peer-reviewed papers to his name, build a large and superb collection of minerals from around the world, specializing in rare element minerals, rare species, and fluorescent minerals. We recently acquired the bulk of the Kamin collection and will be offering select minerals online in the coming months! Stay tuned for more!
