Haynesite

Very abundant bright yellow haynesite on sandstone from the original type lot, collected 11/26/1986. For this rare uranium selenium species this is truly “as good as it gets”, this specimen was assigned a value of over $500 by the discoverer Pat Haynes (comes with a a signed label) way back in 1987!! Impossible to get in this quality today, and the locality is essentially “extinct.” Big specimen as well! Eric Quinter specimen U/Th 1203, pictured on Mindat.org. Rare!!
