Superb large group of well-formed Samarskite-(Y) crystals from an unusual North Carolina locality. This is probably the best or certainly one of the best samarskite specimens from this locality. Has one repair (hard to see). Large, radial crystals on all sides, and no matrix. Measures ~80,000 CPM on my Ludlum Model 3 Counter with the 44-9 probe. Rare!!
